Shipping & Returns

Shipping

FashionPaint USA will only ship its products to destinations in North, Central and South America and when applicable, to countries that are authorized to receive international dangerous goods. We do not accept shipping addresses that are PO, APO, or FPO Boxes. We will email you a confirmation after you confirm your order during checkout and once your package ships.

Orders with shipping addresses in the United States are shipped via UPS Ground and should take 3 – 7 business days to arrive once processed unless otherwise indicated. For shipments to Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico or other international destinations, orders will be shipped via UPS or an alternative carrier (transit times vary – visit the carrier’s web site for further information). All products are currently shipped from our distribution center in Minnesota.

Items that are considered hazardous materials will automatically be shipped UPS Ground and are subject to the carrier’s hazardous materials fee which will appear itemized at checkout.

How are shipping charges calculated?

Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight of each product and estimated number of packages that will be necessary to fulfill the order. The shipping charges that appear at checkout are determined using the carrier’s published rates (for UPS please refer to the UPS Rate & Service Guide – Daily Rates). Shipping charges include the current fuel surcharge, when applicable.

How are hazardous materials fees determined?

Hazardous Materials fees are applied per package in a shipment. If your order contains items that are hazardous materials, the hazmat fees will be shown in the order summary at checkout. The following fees are based on UPS’ current 2010 Hazardous Materials and International Dangerous Goods charges:

$25.00 per package for UPS Ground and UPS Standard to Canada
$35.00 per package for all other UPS domestic services
$40.00 per package for all other UPS international services

How is insurance calculated?

Insurance is optional, however we recommend that you apply insurance to each of your orders to cover any damage or loss that may occur during shipping. The first $100.00 is automatically covered by the carrier at no charge; for every $100.00 thereafter it is $0.70 per $100.00 (a minimum charge of $2.10 applies).  For more details on insurance visit the carrier’s web site.


Returns and Exchanges

FashionPaint USA will offer an exchange or merchandise credit for any item that you are not completely satisfied with, minus a 25% restocking fee. All returned merchandise must be unused, in original condition and in the original manufacturer’s labeled packaging with a copy of the original invoice included.

FashionPaint USA does not accept returns on any product without prior authorization. Returns are accepted only within 30 days of purchase. Refunds are not issued except in the case of damaged or defective goods that we are not able to replace. All custom orders are final and may not be returned or exchanged.

FashionPaint USA does not offer shipping and handling credit on returned or exchanged merchandise. In addition, you are responsible for all return shipping fees to FashionPaint USA’s return facility.
